E/MBA Scholarships Slovenia Finals

This year, the international jury had a tough task in selecting the top candidates in Slovenia. After careful evaluation of performance of top-performing candidates during the selection finals and all other criteria, the 6 persons who received MBA scholarships are: Denis Marič, Ivan Vučetić, Jelena Agafonova, Marko Banović, Marko Rožman, Nina Mazgan and the 6 candidates who received EMBA scholarships are: Blaž Jarc, Dražen Vranješ, Marko Ninčević, Matic Jurkošek, Matic Vošnjak, Zef Vučaj. All the selected scholarship winners and other Cotrugli Alumni were kindly invited to attend the Cotrugli Business Breakfast on Friday at 08. am in hotel Lev. Along a delicious breakfast catering and tasty fresh coffee, scholarship winners were presented to wider public and were accompanied by best wishes and recommendations of the Cotrugli Alumni and Tomaž Dimnik, co-owner of MojeDelo.com and partner of the scholarship process. After the first part of the breakfast, Daniela Bervar (Country manager for Slovenia) announced the guest speaker - journalist and media expert Denis Oštir, who held an interesting lecture entitled ˝What do we expect of you, managers˝, featuring relations between journalists and management.

Yoga for managers & Indian food night

On Wednesday March 16th Cotrugli Business School alumni went for a special experience: Yoga for managers at yoga studio Sadhana! Learning how to relax, breathe and pump new energy were only a couple of practices one can easily and continuously use in office or at home every day. After a vivid dance performance from two professional dancers from dance studio Lotus wearing Indian costumes, a dozen of managers experienced a yoga class with special sound therapy.

In order for all senses to be satisfied at the end of the lesson, hosts Blaž Jarc and professional yoga teacher Sneža invited all participants for a special Indian finger food with delicious spices, pastries and sweets. A little bit tired, but totally relaxed participants went home with some great impressions and simple techniques for relaxing at their offices.

COTRUGLI Business Breakfast in Ljubljana with honorable guest speaker Nicolas Kfuri, PhD

On Thursday, 27th of January 2011 at Hotel Lev, Ljubljana, Cotrugli proudly hosted Nicolas Kfuri, experienced professor in private as well as public universities in executive, graduate and e-Learning programs worldwide, including COTRUGLI Executive MBA program, PURDUE University – GISMA Business School in Germany, University of Barcelona, IESDE in Mexico etc.

At the Cotrugli Business breakfast, Mr. Kfuri covered an interesting and very up-to-date topic Global Strategic and Consumer Trends from 2011 onward. In recent times the world economy faced great change. Throughout the interesting presentation the participants found out the global CEO’s perspectives and recommendations on how to face the future and start setting the proper strategic directions and challenges in covering the upcoming consumer trend orientations. The lecture was open to 30 invited guests only, including Slovenian Cotrugli Executive MBA Alumni and local business leaders.
